This high-resolution 24-panel mosaic captures prominent dark volcanic plains known as maria (such as Mare Imbrium and Mare Serenitatis) alongside heavily cratered highlands.
The image was captured using a Nikon D300s camera attached to a professional OGS 24-inch telescope at the Negeri Sembilan Observatory in Malaysia.
The image was documented by Aniq Danial of the PD Astronomy Club at the Negeri Sembilan.
