Milky Way over Mourne Mountains

Being born and bred looking into Slieve Donard and the Mournes it was a dream of mine to capture the Milky Way in all it's glory rising above them and last night that dream became a reality. I wish to pay special tribute to @hareesh.nair.photography who is an ace astrophotographer who advised me on equipment which saw me aquire a Tokina 2.8 11-16mm lens. Setting up self timer, repeat sequencing and burning these into a setting I can quickly turn the knob to and an L bracket for portrait (thanks @sryanbruen for the earlier advice!) left me with last night having checked Clearoutside as well as Weather & Radar and of course Stellarium with an absolute crystal clear window on the universe in Bortle 4 skies at Tyrella Beach. Watching the moon set in a red fireball over Newcastle standing at a beach fire and the Milky Way tower above me magnified on camera was a truely unforgettable experience. The sequator stacking didn't work out as some extra settings are needed so I may revisit that when I have caught up on sleep but not a night I will forget and not bad for a first proper capture on camera using wide angle after moonset with clear skies and a suitable set of equipment! Starlink Satellites messed up 6 images but I had 3 shots all I needed. 🌌

I have had to change time from 00:03 to 02:00 as your app wouldn't accept?
