Since the sun was low at totality here in Mallorca (2.7 degrees), I didn’t expect a large corona, so I planned on catching something different, the moon shadow moving in. The location at about 1000 feet overseeing the sea was particularly good for this purpose. I took a time lapse at a 1 second interval. This is the moment when the moon covers the sun for us. The moon shadow - the big dark slanted V shaped area in the sky - is touching the sun. There is an upside down V shaped shadow on the sea. Time lapse movie to come later.
