Total Solar Eclipse through the clouds, A Coruña, Spain

Total solar eclipse over A Coruña, Spain, on August 12, 2026. Thick clouds completely obscured totality to the naked eye, but fortunately my camera was already aimed at the Sun. Through a thinner part of the cloud cover, the camera captured the dark lunar disk, the faint solar corona and a bright pink-red prominence along the Moon’s limb.
