Saturn & Moons

This is the glorious planet Saturn and some of her moons captured by me just a few nights ago! The seeing conditions were poor/fair but this image still came out great and I am very happy with it! Feels so good to get out there and image planets again, especially Saturn!

As you can see there are two moons in this photo, the one closest to Saturn is called Tethys and the second one is Dione! I love capturing the moons and adding them into my planet photos, it just makes them that much better!

This was taken with my good old C8, 2x Orion Barlow lens, and my ZWO 224 mc camera with a UV/IR cut filter to increase clarity. This was all on my Orion Atlas Eq Mount!

Quick stack in Autostakkert, then move to Registax for sharpening and final touches in Photoshop! Nice and easy!
