All of today's sunspots have stable magnetic fields

A category five dust storm moved through the area day before yesterday making conditions impossible for astronomy. Category 5 is the highest and most extreme level on the dust storm scale. This morning we are still feeling the effects of that storm, but through the haze we see that the solar disk has several sunspots and all of these sunspots have stable magnetic fields that pose no threat for strong solar flares
