Noctilucent Cloud!

I walked outside to let the dogs pee, about 8:30pm. Sunset was 8:07, so very dusky with no clouds in the sky. Except this Noctilucent cloud I saw to the south!!
Vandenberg Space Force Base is 50 miles to the south, and I see rocket launches pretty regularly. So I’m pretty sure this is a remnant bit of vapor from a launch. But, as a scientist and pilot, it was a really cool cloud that hung around for quite awhile. And very uniquely distinct, which is why I took some photos. Latitude is ~35 degrees.
