A small hoverfly (Eristalinus megacephalus) grooming itself after feeding on (and pollinating) nearby flowers. It's difficult to take these kinds of photographs in agricultural and livestock areas, and one has to resort to land belonging to various infrastructures (roads, canals, railways, etc.) to obtain them, land that needs environmental protection so that a multitude of animals, not just arthropods, can survive.

Es difícil hacer este tipo de fotografías en zonas agrícolas y ganaderas, y hay que recurrir a los terrenos pertenecientes a las distintas infraestructuras (carreteras, canales, ferrocarriles...) para poderlas conseguir, terrenos que es necesario proteger ambientalmente para que multitud de animales, no sólo artrópodos, puedan sobrevivir
