NGC 6820

This is NGC 6820 in the constellation Vulpecula. It's one of my favorites with its very distinctive single pillar. I took this over 2 nights, gathering about 6.5 hours of data per night. Individual exposure times were 300 seconds.

- StellarVue 152mm refractor
- Nikon D810A camera
- Astrophysics Mach 2 GTO mount
-guiding system

I process this in PixInsight using several processes. I process the stars separately from the nebulosity using StarXterminator, then later, recombined them. I use Masked Stretch to keep from blowing out the brighter portions of the nebula.
