not so big newcomer AR4482, rotating the 8 o'clock limb, anounced its arrival with a strong X1.3 flare today afternoon, when the instability of yesterdays geomagnetic storm was still present. The big spots that have accompanied us the last week are close to rotate beyond the western limb where they can still rock us with powerful flares.
