Asperitas clouds?

We were just about to drive to the parking lot to begin a guided tour of the Mistaken Point UNESCO World Heritage Site in southern Newfoundland, on the coast. As we got into our car, we noticed these strange wispy clouds. Could these be Asperitas clouds? (BTW, the Site is Amazing! It has hundreds of Precambrian fossils.)
