This is a part of the Rho Ophiuchi Cloud Complex, a very colorful and large part of the sky located close to the star Antares in Scorpius. I decided to zoom into a portion of the cloud complex for this pic. Such fun. The dark part of this pic is not night sky it is dark nebulae. Dark nebulae are not illuminated and you can tell that they are thick areas of dust because the stars behind the nebulae are not visible.
ASI2600MC Pro g100, AskarV@495f6.2, 74 10min pics (12.3 hours) exposure +darks/biases/flats, Ha 21 10min pics (3.5 hours) exposure, taken over multiple nights
AM5/ASIair+, EAF, Askar OAG with ASI174mini for guiding
PixInsight 100%.
There is minimal Red in this pic. Taking a separate Ha image and blending it in brought out the subtle reds in the pic. I was quite happy with the result.
