The planetary alignment with the Moon sickle and Gemini
On 06/16/2026 10:07 pm by Roberto Ortu | Website | Cabras, Sardinia, Italy
This is a photo of the June 16th evening planetary alignment, with the Moon sickle and the stars Pollux and Castor in Gemini. The faintest planet near the Moon is Mercury, then Jupiter higher up and the brightest Venus at the top of the image. Below the planets, the silhouette of the Aragonese tower of Su Pottu is visible, located near the Cabras pond and built around the seventeenth century, during the Spanish rule in Sardinia.
