Andy Dungan 6/17/26 Pinwheel Galaxy M101 in Ursa Major 21 million ly away

Pics taken during May 26 and processed in June. The most fun about this image was it was the first time I used an OSC camera to also take Ha images. The result was that the reds in the image had greater emphasis thus making a more interesting image. Ya, I finally figured out how to do that with PI.

ASI585MC Pro g200, AskarV@600f7.5, 75 10min pics (12.5 hours) exposure,
+darks/biases/flats + Ha 36 10min pics (6 hours) exposure
AM5/ASIair+, EAF, Askar OAG with ASI174mini for guiding

PixInsight 100%.

After linear processing was complete the RGB(OSC) image was blended with the Ha image using PI. The resulting image was then processed using typical methods to complete the final image.
