I was ready for bed, but something told me to go look at the sky.
Cold air after a whole day of rain, wet ground under my feet.
Clouds were heavy, but they parted just enough.
Venus first. Then Jupiter. Two steady lights above it all.

Standing there, I remembered that love doesn’t always show up how we expect.
Sometimes it’s just light finding you through the clouds, saying “it’s ok my dear girl. You’re doing just fine.”
