Mammatus clouds

Last evening, while visiting with our son and his family, there were tornado watches in our area. We were outside enjoying homemade ice cream and somebody looked up at the sky where we saw this beautiful cloud configuration. I was curious if it had a name so I described it online and found that these are Mammatus clouds.
