It felt like the perfect moment to share the story of events like these when I noticed a couple taking a selfie, completely unaware of the two bright planets shining just above the horizon in front of them.

In a world where we’re constantly looking down at our screens, it’s easy to miss the quiet moments happening above us. Tonight, Venus and Jupiter appeared side by side in the evening sky, separated by hundreds of millions of kilometres in space, yet seemingly close enough from our perspective on Earth.
