Planets illuminate the evening landscape
On 06/05/2026 09:51 pm by Teresa Molinaro | Website | Sicily, Southern Italy
Early June evenings are enlivened by the brightness of the planets Jupiter and Venus, which immediately after sunset appear in the west along with the stars Pollux and Castor in Gemini, with Mercury low down but clearly visible. Here I photographed the celestial scene over the landscape of the Sicilian hinterland in the province of Palermo.
