The Longest Sun rays!
On 06/05/2026 06:40 pm by Adeel Shafiq | Website | Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan
Crepuscular rays stretching across the evening sky over Lahore, continuing all the way toward the antisolar point as anticrepuscular rays.
This 94.5 MP panorama was created from 7 frames taken at 18 mm and reveals a phenomenon rarely captured in its entirety: sunlight and shadow bands spanning almost the whole sky.
Although the rays appear to diverge from the Sun and converge on the opposite horizon, they are actually nearly parallel beams shaped by perspective.
Presenting you the longest sun rays I have ever captured and one of the few documented panoramic captures of anticrepuscular rays from Lahore.
