Brandt's Cormorant Skypointing

This is a male Brandt's Cormorant performing a courtship dance called skypointing to attract females. During the breeding season they have cobalt blue eyes and throat pouch and wispy white feathers on the head. I watched him do this several times, bowing his head low to the ground then pointing his beak to the sky tilting his head far back.
