Poor Man's Baily's Beads?

Waxing sliver of a moon on mostly clear evening. Note spots at the thinnest edge of the limb on right side. I guess they are open spaces between higher points on the Moon's rugged surface allowing view of sunlit surface behind. Kind of like Baily's Beads seen during a solar eclipse.
