Peaks Peeking at Sunrise

What an amazing sunrise! At first It seemed that we were not going to have any chance at a good sunrise at all: Thick fog had settled all around like a heavy, suffocating blanket. But , as common wisdom in Colorado points out over and over again: “ If you don’t like the weather, just wait for five minutes…!” - And sure enough, after only a few minutes of staring at the grey vapor soup, the power of the sun’s rays sliced through the foggy landscape, revealing a truly stunning view of a single, dramatic section of the Blanca Range (part of the Southern Rocky Mountains) sticking out of an ocean of fog.
