Sundown On Cinco de Mayo

It took awhile for the sun to drop from the thick dark clouds. Before it was visible there appeared a thin iridescent glitter on the horizon which extended to the shore as the sun dropped. Finally the thick marine cloud layer over the ocean horizon hid the radiant orb.
