Despite being the biggest and more complex of the present sunspots, AR4420 is the most silent; instead, AR4419 emited two X and one more M flare today, being followed in production by active AR4423, a scattered aggregate of minor cores in the eastern equatorial sector. AR4419 is leaving the solar face, but it can produce more energetic flares that can affect Earth due to the spiral magnetic lines coming from beyond the western limb (Parker spiral)
