Waves of Color

We had unsettled weather prior to this formation for a few days. As the day progressed I saw these auto cumulus “ gravity waves” forming. As the sun set in the west the texture the formation and the color increased minute by minute. The back lighting created a stop in your tracks moment for many people in all parts of San Diego. I was fortunate to be close to the water for this experience.
