This weekend was clear and I wanted to image, but the targets I'm looking for require a darker site than Newport. So, I decided to load up the car and head to the desert to image at our off-grid property near the Prine Ridge Reservoir. It was an amazing trip. Here's one of many images from that night. This is just after sunset, with the moon and Venus parallel to each other and M45: the Pleiades above them. They are setting over Prineville with the silhouette of Mt. Washington on the side.
