Venus and Thin Crescent Moon in Conjunction

Venus the Evening Star and the thin waxing crescent moon are in conjunction, the day after the new moon. Their orbital paths bring them to nearly the same spot in Earth’s night sky tonight. Grateful for the little clearing that made them visible. The clouds enveloped them shortly after this photo.
