Venus and Jupiter inching closer

We finally had a clear night and we caught Venus and Jupiter inching closer to each other tonight on our allsky camera. They were joined by a thin crescent moon. The 2 planets are 57.5 degrees apart tonight. They'll continue getting closer to each other through early June. On June 8 and 9, they'll be about 3 full-moon-widths (1.5 degrees) apart.
