Sea Thrift By The Sea
On 04/13/2026 02:25 pm by Cecille Kennedy | Pirate Cove, Oregon
The perennial Sea Thrift (Armeria maritima) also known as Sea Pink are now blooming wild on the coastal bluffs and in cultivated gardens. They are in different shades of pink, the cluster in the image being deep rose pink and the distant ones baby pink. They are salt-tolerant, dee-resistant and are known to attract butterflies, bees and hummingbirds.
