The Orion-Artemis spacecraft, among the stars
On 04/08/2026 04:45 am by Steven Bellavia | Website | Smithfield, VA
Using JPL-NASA ephemeris data and scripts written by Shawn Gano, I located the Orion-Artemis II spacecraft within Stellarium and could then image it, similar to how I would image a fast-moving asteroid or comet. It is moving among the stars, 333,800 Km (207,400 miles) from earth
PlateSolve3 indicates the spacecraft is currently around magnitude 16-ish
