Growing sunspot 4405

Fair skies here in Sedona allowed us a look at growing sunspot AR 4405. Clouds and even some rain on the way for the High Desert but for now.
Spaceweather.com reports: Growing sunspot 4405 erupted again on March 30th, producing an X1.5-class solar flare. And Growing sunspot 4405 poses an increasing threat for X-class solar flares.
Extreme ultraviolet radiation from the flare ionized the air above southeast Asia and Australia, causing a shortwave radio blackout in those locations. Ham radio operators may have noticed loss of signal at all frequencies below30 MHz.
X-class flares are big; they are major events that can trigger planet-wide radio blackouts and long-lasting radiation storms.
