New sunspots are emerging!
On 03/27/2026 10:14 am by Victor Rogus | Website | Sedona, Arizona, USA
As seen to me this morning. New sunspots are emerging (at the circled locations), bringing the number of sunspot groups on the solar disk to at least 10!
The solar disk is now peppered with sunspots. Including three new dark cores emerging over the eastern limb, there are at least 10 sunspot groups on the Earthside of the sun. This naturally increases the odds of geoeffective flares. (Spaceweather.com)
