Midmorning On The Trail

At the trail this morning the trees stand tall basking in the midmorning sun. The trees were mostly Sitka spruce and hemlock, a few cedar. Some have ivy twining on their trunk. On the ground fern and assorted vegetation also get sunlight, but not much, that filter through the trees.
