Orion and the Winter Hexagon

Winter Hexagon from the Eastern Sierra. Orion and the Winter Hexagon are begining it's westward shift in late March. I captured this image from the backyard around 11pm PDT just before Orion and the Hexagon dropped below the trees, it's not too late to enjoy this winter asterism even though it's officially spring.
