Medusa Nebula

This is the Medusa Nebula, a very old planetary nebula in the constellation Gemini. This is a stacked image using about sixteen hours of total exposure time over four nights.

StellarVue 152mm Refractor Astro-physics Mach 2 Tracking Mount, Nikon D810A DSLR camera. Also guiding equipment.

I processed this in PixInsight. Stretched the nebulosity separately from the stars. Did some sharpening and used some tools to denoise and smooth out the background.
