Opossum
On 03/13/2026 05:21 pm by Lorraine Boyd | Castleton, New York
Pretty far off in the distance I spotted something unusual walking in a field. I was surprised to see an Opposum. I had never photographed one before. Even though it was late in the day, it was still light out. Opossum are usually nocturnal, but high energy demands in winter or while raising babies (March-April) may force them to forage during the day.
