All of these Sunspots are Stable
On 03/10/2026 09:30 am by Victor Rogus | Website | Sedona, Arizona, USA
There are six, numbered sunspot groups on the solar disk this morning, yet none of them have an unstable magnetic field and none are likely to explode. NOAA forecasters say there is no more than a 1% chance of X-flares on March10th.
Therefore, all of these sunspots do indeed have stable magnetic fields that pose little threat for strong solar flares.
