I finally got enough clear skies this winter to be able to spend enough time on an iconic deep sky object, the Horsehead and Flame Nebulae. Using the dual narrow band filter really allowed the hydrogen gases to pop!
I used a full spectrum, astro-modded Canon SL2 DSLR with the Svbony SV220 dual narrowband filter, all attached to an Apertura 75Q refractor sitting on a Sky-Watcher HEQ5 tracking mount.
Total integration time of 12.5 hours (597 x 1.25 minute exposures) and processed using Siril with final touches in GIMP.
