Canada Goose in Late Afternoon Sun

A Canada goose catches the late afternoon sun in a pond in Wilmington, North Carolina. It had just had its head underwater, evidently nibbling on aquatic plants. Water droplets sparkle on its head, and a strand of green aquatic plant dangles from its beak.
