Rosette Nebula
On 02/06/2026 08:00 pm by Jarrod Lyman | Website | Gresham, OR
I’ve been playing with the dwarf 3 smart telescope I got for Christmas, and have been amazed at what I can see even in a bortle 8 zone at the edge of the suburbs of Portland, OR. Last night I spent about three hours getting about 200 one-minute exposures of the Rosette Nebula. Lesser known than the Orion Nebula, it’s another star forming region that’s about 5000 light years from Earth.
