A very challenging target from my backyard in bortle 8 Suez, Egypt.
Elephant's Trunk nebula or IC1396 is a unique star forming region in Cepheus. I have been trying to get this right since December and finally got about 8 clean hours, was hoping to get more data to do an HOO but it's gonna have to wait next autumn.
