besides being ferocious, AR4366 is HUGE, its longitudinal size, even without foreshortening correction, is about 11 Earths side by side; the spot is easily observed with protected eye alone close to 6 o'clock limb in the morning and 2 o'clock limb in the afternoon (due to field rotation, as seen from 33° south latitude). The above image allows to see fine detail in the spot complex structure and a smiling friendly face in the big western dark core.
