The Horsehead Nebula, also known as Barnard 33, is a dark nebula located in the constellation Orion, approximately 1,375 light-years from Earth. It is notable for its horse-head shape and is part of a larger region where star formation occurs. IC 434 is a bright emission nebula located in the constellation Orion, and provides the red glow behind the Horsehead nebula. It’s approximately 1,260 light-years away from Earth and is illuminated by nearby stars. And to the their left is NGC 2024, also known as the Flame Nebula, is an emission nebula also located in the constellation Orion, approximately 1,350 light-years away from Earth. It is part of the Orion Molecular Cloud Complex and is known for its bright star-forming region, which includes a young cluster of stars.
