In for a Landing

One of a couple of dozen wintering and local Bald Eagles hanging out below the Cohoes Falls. It was an extremely frigid day and they were very active fishing. This one is a sub-adult, probably approaching three years old. It's just about fully grown (anywhere between 7 & 14 pounds, and wing span from 6 to 7 1/2 feet).
