Aurora and Milky Way

I read at a variety of online platforms this morning that a lot of people were disappointed with last night's Aurora, which apparently remained hidden in many places...
Well, we were actually quite happy with the performance that Nature delivered: The sky over our house, located at about 9,000 ft (2,700 meter) elevation in the Wet Mountains of Colorado was deep red with stripes of Yellow and green. And my favorite bonus was the Milky Way, perfectly visible and stretching right so the crimson sky!
