Golden Buck and Rocky Mountains

At first, a cloudy sky to the East prevented the big, impressive sunrise I had hoped for. But as so often, patience pays: Suddenly, a few rays of the rising sun found their way through an opening in the clouds and the beam of light perfectly illuminated a beautiful buck, grazing quietly at the edge of the forest, while being bathed in an almost golden light! And snowcovered Humboldt Peak and The Crestones (Fourteeners in the Southern Rocky Mountains) provide the extraordinary backdrop for the dreamlike scenery.
