Wave Clouds

When I saw the beautiful cloud formation while driving, a little after sunset, I had to pull over to take in the scene! They are altocumulus undulatus clouds, sometimes called "wave clouds", created by atmospheric waves. I am not sure if the warmer than average temperature on this day could have had anything to do with it.
