Jupiter, January 10, 2026
This is the view through my large 11" Celestron telescope with the planet near its zenith. Three of the Galilean moons are in this view. The Giant Red Spot was just about to appear when the clouds rolled in. Jupiter is that very bright star in the eastern sky before midnight and high overhead shortly after midnight.
