On 01/09/2026 10:29 am by Victor Rogus | Website | Sedona, Arizona, USA
Rain has once again has left the area and the sky has cleared enough to view our nearest star, Sol. And we see sunspot 4336 that has a 'beta-gamma-delta' magnetic field that harbors energy for X-class solar flares.
103mm Jagers refractor, Badder Planetarium safety prism, using neutral tensity and a solar continuum filter, Losmandy GM-8 mount. Cannon 60Da camera.
Adjusted contrast a bit in Adobe.
