Tropical winter sunset

This photo was taken looking southwest, 12 minutes after sunset with the sun three degrees below the horizon, right in the middle of civil twilight. Similar to previous images that I have shared in EarthSky Community Photos (see #79069 and #67480), this colorful display was produced by multiple layers of clouds overlaid with each other.

GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP) on GNU/Linux. (1) Minimal cropping from the original at 4,080 x 3,060 to 4,080 x 2,720. (2) Slight saturation adjustment to better match the view seen during sunset.
